Richie Petronzi was a pioneer in the Miami cocktail world , he helped start a movement with the like of the late John Lermayer and others.
Richie passed away late November and has been remembered by friends and colleagues for being a great bartender, mentor, and friend.
Julio Cabrera, one of Richie’s colleagues from The Regent Cocktail Club posted yesterday:”A Negroni for Petronzi. Join us tomorrow from 7 to 9 pm at The Regent Cocktail Club to toast and celebrate Richie’s life with his favorite cocktail. A charity event.”
Richie Petronzi, Julio Cabrera, John Lermayer opened The Regent Cocktail Club together which went on to garner numerous awards and nominations.
The hospitality community has been hit hard in 2018 this year with the passing of John Lermayer and Andrew Alessi.
