It’s been a little bit over a year since industry legend and local favorite, John Lermayer, passed away. He leaves behind a legacy of mentorship and education that continues to this day.
During the celebration of his life last year in Miami Beach, local City of Miami Beach commissioners claimed June 21st, John Lermayer Day in Miami Beach.
June 21st is the first day of summer and a fitting tribute to John who championed an award-winning Daiquiri and Piña Colada which can still be had in one of his greatest achievements, the award-winning, Sweet Liberty in Miami Beach.
Starting today, Thursday, June 20th, guests will be treated to award-winning bartenders popping up at Sweet Liberty, paying homage to the bartending legend. June 21st, will have his favorite bands and musicians playing the hits.
