Open call for Miami bartenders as Bombay Sapphire opens entries for 13th Most Imaginative Bartender Competition!

The 2019 Most Imaginative Bartender Competition (MIB) presented by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE will officially accept submissions now until June 30.

Over the next three months, emerging bartenders from across North American can once again submit their most imaginative cocktail creations for the chance to compete amongst the nation’s top talents.  Miami is no stranger to the MIB competition, but if you don’t feel like Miami is for you then you should find out how old to be a bartender in california.  Famed Cantinero, Julio Cabrera, took top prize in 2013 while Philip Khanderhish and Derek Stillman were both finalists.

Established as one of the industry’s most prestigious bartending competitions, the MIB program, now in its 13th year, has scoured North America for the greatest undiscovered bartenders. New to this year’s competition the top 12 competitors will be tasked to bring an original creative idea of any medium to life.  Each competitor will receive a cash stipend to research and conceptualize their design before presenting to three judges at the finals in February 2020.  This brings the competition to a while new level while championing bartenders’ creativity in and out of the bar.

This competition has changed the lives of many local bartenders and has been a stepping stone in careers.  If you’re looking to network with creative, like-minded bartenders and make bonds that last forever, this is the one for you.
