The Negroni is one of our favorite cocktails on earth. A simple mix of Campari, gin and sweet vermouth, the Negroni has taken the cocktail world by storm the past couple of years.
Events have included the World’s Largest Negroni (Tales of the Cocktail 2011, we were there!) to Negroni competitions and for the past couple of years, Negroni Week.
Negroni Week is presented by the wonderful folks at Imbibe Magazine and Campari. Launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. From 2013 to 2014, Negroni Week grew from more than 100 participating venues to more than 1,300 participating venues around the world and more than $120,000 raised for charities.
In 2015, Negroni Week took place from June 1-7, and more than 3,500 venues around the world mixed their favorite Negroni variations and raised over $320,000 for charitable causes.
This year Negroni Week will take place from June 6-12. Don’t forget to keep tabs on the Negroni Week action on Imbibe’s Instagram and Twitter feeds (@imbibe) and by following the #NegroniWeek hashtag.
