Last year, we held our 1st Annual Pineapple Awards (stay tuned for the next one), and both The Broken Shaker and Sweet Liberty went home with awards, so we’re not far off to say we were right!
Both bars were chosen in the top 100 with Broken Shaker getting their fourth nod while Sweet Liberty makes the top 50 for the first time in their short history. The results are in and Sweet Liberty lands at #27 while The Broken Shaker Miami Beach lands at #18. An amazing accomplishment for not only these bars but Miami overall. Hats off to the bar teams and staff for their amazing hospitality.

The World’s 50 Best Bars awards will take place at London’s historic Southwark Cathedral on Thursday 5th October 2017.
In addition to The World’s 50 Best Bars list, they also add the 51-100 list (which Sweet Liberty was on last year, #78).
In 2017, the list of awards has four new categories including: Industry Icon Award, Bartenders’ Bartender, One To Watch,
Legend of the List (bars that have been on the list multiple years), Best New Opening, the bar opened within the voting year,
Highest Climber, the bar that has risen most places within The World’s 50 Best Bars, Highest New Entry, the highest-ranked bar that has entered the list for the first time, Continental Awards, the highest ranked bars in, respectively, North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa & the Middle East, Asia and Australasia and The World’s Best Bar, ranked No.1 in the world.
We couldn’t be more excited to have these bars sitting in our backyard and now with some prestigious hardware that is much deserved.
