LILT prides itself with their unique ice program called, “In ‘Ice’ We Trust”.  The ice is offered in different cocktails and are infused to elevate the way you sip on a cocktail. Each ice block is made by hand and flavor creation is led by Head Barman Spencer and Director of Beverage Dean Feddadoui.

Cocktails, such as, The First Class, made with Maker’s Mark, Aperol, Amaro, Lemon Juice and served in a smoked glass that pierces the ice.

Another crowd pleaser is the Miracle on Ice, which has cucumber and jalapeño infused ice, Milagro Tequila, Green Chartreuse, lime and finished with a touch of agave.

Besides all this, LILT has spoken to spirit companies to create their own blends you can only taste at this location, one of those is a Mount Gay Rum blend made especially for the bar.

LILT has also gone out of their way to offer up their secrets in cocktail making for guests to take with them.  There are about 10 seats available per class (classes can be booked private) and each class explores natural elements through cocktails (earth, fire, water).

Throughout the year, each “spirited” class, priced at $60 per person (excluding tax and gratuity), will be held in the intimate Owner’s Lounge and showcase cocktails by Dean and Spencer.  Here you will get educated on spirits, how to make cocktails, pairing with food, using herbs in cocktails and overall technique.   Light bites are also included from Area 31’s Executive Chef Wolfgang Birk.

We got a chance to join in on a class and it was not only entertaining but very informative.

Spencer knew all about the spirits that were utilized and also taught the guests to make a home made shrub for cocktails (coconut shrub was fantastic).   He was so specific about all ingredients used, he even started explaining how the maraschino cherry played a role in the cocktails.  He also went out of his way to mention products available at home stores to utilize for the cocktails.  The libations can also be ordered during regular service.

Upcoming classes in the coming months, check the website for details.

And of course the bar is open Tuesday through Saturday, 6PM TO 2AM
